In May 2021, His Eminence Metropolitan JOSEPH appointed Fr. Nicholas Belcher to oversee efforts to revitalize and reorganize the Youth related ministries of the Archdiocese including Christian Education, Youth & Young Adult Ministries and Camping Ministry.

The Task Force is working towards a more holistic approach to our youth and young adult ministry efforts. We will work to ensure that all of our endeavors will inspire our young people to greater engagement in four areas:

1. Participation in the Liturgical Life of the Church
2. Embracing the Ascetical Practices of Prayer, Fasting, and Almsgiving
3. Serving Others
4. Developing Loving Relationships with Clergy and Lay Mentors 

We are planning to do this through offering retreats, programs, multimedia, and curricula. Most importantly, we hope to help our parishes make an impact on the everyday lives of not only our youth but all of the faithful.
